磁铁矿介绍
磁铁矿的化学成分为Fe3O4，晶体属等轴晶系的氧化物矿物。因为它具有磁性，中国古代又称为慈石、磁石、玄石。完好单晶形呈八面体或菱形十二面体，菱形面上常有平行该晶面长对角线方向的条纹。集合体为致密块状或粒状。颜色为铁黑色，条痕呈黑色，半金属光泽，不透明，无解理，摩氏硬度5.5-6，比重4.8-5.3。具强磁性，是矿物中磁性最强的，能被永久磁铁吸引，中国古代的指南针“司南”就是利用这一特性制成的。
磁铁矿分布广，有多种成因。火山作用有关的矿浆直接形成的以智利拉克铁矿为典型；接触变质形成的铁矿以中国大冶铁矿为典型；含铁沉积岩层经区域变质作用形成的铁矿，品位低规模大，俄罗斯、北美、巴西、澳大利亚和中国辽宁鞍山等地都有大量产出。磁铁矿是炼铁的主要矿物原料，也是传统的中药材。
磁铁矿滤料，适用于管式大阻力配水系统，是三层滤池必备的一种过滤材料，主要对改进承托层和配水系统有着良好的适用能力，强度高、滤速快、反冲洗时不易混层。另外，它对除铁、除锰、除氟效果也很明显。
磁铁矿滤料技术特性：
1.磁铁矿滤料结构独特，采用雨淋式设计结构过滤面积大，可降低穿透力，滤床稳定，提高过滤效果。
2.磁铁矿滤料采用纯度高达99%以上的SiO2颗粒，其密度大、硬度强、表面光滑，反冲洗干净彻底，同时选用密度相对较大的磁铁矿石或锰砂作为一级滤料，这样不易损失滤料，延长使用寿命，再通过合理基配，能够有效的去除水中的悬浮物、胶状物及铁离子。
3.雨淋式双层滤料过滤器下部采用小阻力配水系统，不受反洗强度限制，而且冲洗干净彻底，杜绝漏砂和乱层，对水中的悬浮物去除率在60%以上。
4.磁铁矿滤料处理量大，操作方便，过滤精度高，运行安全可靠。
5.磁铁矿滤料可与泵循环再生式核桃壳过滤器进行串联运行，以满足油田污水处理高精度运行的要求。
6.磁铁矿滤料可安装全自动控制系统，使设备自动运行，启动、反洗等全部自动化。
